Our expert designers walk you through our five step design process, answering your questions and providing you with the information you need to create a landscape that meets your budget and exceeds your expectations. All of our designs are drafted in CAD which can be integrated into your existing site plans and used as a reference for all future developments on the property. We offer design credits for individuals who wish to utilize BID for the installation in addition to providing stand-alone design services. Our 5 Step Design Process

Consultation
An opportunity to discuss your landscape needs with a BID designer including
- Comprehensive analysis of current plant and soil health, irrigation and lighting systems health and efficiencies.
- Construction or integration and update of a CAD property map with detailed analysis of easements, right of ways, and utilities affecting the installation.
- Initial 'hardscape' design sketch reflecting requests made during the free consultation.
Contract
Pending a signed contract and deposit, a BID designer will begin to construct your custom design including
- Onsite review of preliminary analysis, mapping, and design sketch with BID's Designer
- Detailed discussion of specific 'hardscape', 'softscape', plant, soil, and lighting / irrigation materials requested.
- Modify / Request document outlining the design directives to be applied to the proof.
Review
An opportunity to add detail and modifications to your initial design including
- Onsite presentation and review of the design with BID designer.
- Comprehensive full-color CAD design schematic with material samples.
- Modify / Request document outlining the design directives to be applied to the final design.
Revise
A second meeting with your designer to address any concerns or additional requests including
- Completed CAD design presented with material samples
- Installation proposal and contract detailing all material and labor costs for install of the design by BID
- Final design invoice or application of BID design credit pending a signed installation contract with BID
